Made in Japan Citric Acid PKS-A120

How to use
Put a bag of citric acid (approx. 30 g) in the inner container.
Add water to the maximum level, mix, close the cover, and plug in the product.
Boil water and leave it for a while. (approx. 2–3 hours)
Unplug the product and remove water. If any stain remains, rub it off with a sponge and rinse thoroughly with water.
Boil water again as usual using only water to get water with residual citric acid and remove the water.
*If you use an electric water boiler & warmer with the citric acid cleaning function, read the instruction manual of the electric water boiler & warmer to clean it with the citric acid.

Precautions for use
Do not mix with chlorine-based products, as they emit harmful chlorine gas and are dangerous when used together.
Citric acid is harmless from a food hygiene standpoint, but should not be eaten. Keep out of reach of infants to prevent accidental ingestion.
Store in a dry place at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
Do not use for any purpose other than that for which it was originally intended.
Use the powder as soon as possible after opening the package.

When to clean
As you use electric kettle and electric water boiler & warmer, there may be rust-like red dots (transferred rust) on the inner surface, the interior may turn partly milk white, black, or rainbow colors, or white suspended matter (minerals) may be found in the water inside.
These are not caused by discoloration or corrosion of the inner container itself or separation of the fluorine resin but result from actions of the minerals (such as calcium, magnesium, and iron) contained in the water.
Although they will not pose a sanitary hazard, clean the water boiler frequently if the stains become conspicuous.
Recommendation: Clean with citric acid once every two or three months.
