Chicken, Pork and Beef Satay

Skewer Ingredients
Chicken Fillet / Beef Fillet / Pork Fillet 1kg
Fresh Pineapple Optional
Fresh Mushroom Optional
Sweet Peppers Optional

Seasonings
Soy Sauce 2tbsp
Sugar 1tsp
Cornflour 1tsp
Pepper 1tsp
Sesame Oil 1tsp

Sauce Ingredients
Coconut Milk 125ml
Peanut Butter 1½ tbsp
Minced Garlic 2pcs (approx. 1 tbsp)
Dried Red Chili 2pcs
Curry Powder 1tsp
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
Cumin Powder ¼ tsp
Kecap Manis 3tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Oil 1tbsp

Steps
1. Cut the meat into 2cm
2. Marinate the meat with the seasonings for 30 minutes
3. Weave the meat and the other ingredients onto skewers
4. Before turning on the Electric Skillet CQD-B10S, place the (silver) water-holding plate in the middle of the heater unit.
5. Add hot water to the water line of the plate, place the grill plate on top
6. Add oil to the grill plate and turn on the skillet to 160℃
7. Grill the skewers until done
8. When the skillet is cooled down, remove the grill plate and water-holding plate
9. Place the deep pan onto the heater unit
10. Add the sauce ingredients accordingly: oil, minced garlic, coconut milk, dried chili, curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, kecap manis, salt
11. Stir fry until the sauce turns into darker colour, add the peanut butter
12. Stir fry until thick

Tips
- Extra oil will slip from the grill plate to the water-holding plate
- Adding water to the water-holding plate can minimize the smoke but it is not compulsory
- When the water in the plate is not sufficient, you may add warm/hot water from the hole of the grill plate. DO NOT add cold water.
