Potato Balls

Product Used: Multi-function Electric Skillet (CQD-B10S)


**Ingredients
Potatoes 600g
Minced Pork 260g
Flour 100g
Unsalted Butter 40g
Salt a little
Black Pepper a little

 

**Steps
1. Clean the potatoes, boil it until well done
2. Peel, dry and smash the potatoes after they are cooled. Mix with butter and then set it aside.
3. Add oil to the deep pan of Electric Skillet, fan fry the minced meat
4. When 2 sides are golden brown, stir fry with salt and black pepper
5. Mix smashed potato with the minced pork
6. Use 2 spoons to make (5) into potato balls that could fit into the takoyaki plate.
7. Grease the takoyaki plate and heat the plate to 160 ℃
8. Grill the potato balls until they are golden brown

 

**Tips
- If you want the potato balls firmer, please be aware of the below steps for reducing the water.
- Sufficient amount of flour
- Don’t stir fry the minced pork immediately adding to the pan. Pan fry first is better.
- Flip the potato balls quickly
- Avoid turning the temperature up and down (this electric skillet is with temperature control).
