Why should we dechlorinate water?

A tiny amount of chlorine is added to the drinking water during processing for sterilizing and avoiding water being contaminated during transfer. Some people are very sensitive the the odor of chlorine. Dechlorination is to minimize the odor.

Most of the available TIGER water boilers and warmers are with “dechlorinate” function. There will be flashing light when this function is on. The boiling time will be longer than usual with dechlorination process.
